AIVA's Interface:
After registering on AIVA's website, you'll be directly placed on the home screen of AIVA's software, meaning you can use it directly on your browser.
You also have a Desktop App available for download, which is currently available for Windows, Mac, and Linux. (Download Page)
The interface looks clean, and despite the vast amount of features, it feels simple and intuitive.
In this screen you'll find all of the features available.
Something that came to our attention was how simple yet complex (yes, a little contradicting) the interface is.
If you are a seasoned composer or producer, you will feel familiar with a lot of the technicalities involved in the music making process, so you will still have a lot of control over the music making process.
Regardless, you could also be someone with absolutely no background in music theory or music production, and you'll still be able to use the software at ease. All you'll have to do, is intuitively click the "Create Track" button and input a couple of simple parameters.

Features and Functionality :
AIVA is more than a simple AI-Music generator.
It is a whole workstation where you can create AI-generated music, with a full-fledged integrated editor that function like a DAW (Digital Audio Workstation), where you can edit your MIDI tracks, and apply a lot of different effects to the generated track.
The interface also features an achievement window, which makes using AIVA that little bit more fun, making it a sort of "Game Experience".
It also features its own radio, which is fully composed (of course) by AIVA itself. It is both a great way to explore AIVA's capabilities, as well as a way to just sit back and listen to some AI-generated pieces.
At the left-side menu, you'll find most of all the features available with AIVA:
Create Track:
In here you'll be presented with 3 options:
Generation Profiles: In here you can create a song by simply picking a genre, then choosing the tempo and duration
Influences: You can drop your own MIDI or Audio file and feed AIVA's algorithm with the kind of piece you would like to create, it'll then create something inspired in that piece
Preset Styles: Another way to choose what kind of music you would like AIVA's AI to produce, you can pick either by the "Emotion View" from a lot of different options, or from the "Advanced View" window.
Editor:
This is where you'll be able to view, edit and and mix your track.
This works a lot like a DAW (Digital Audio Workstation), where you have full control of the MIDI tracks.
You can apply a lot of processing effects like:
Dynamics
EQ (Low and High Pass filters)
Reverb
Delay
Automation
Pan
Generation Profiles:
This is where you can create and save your own generation profiles.
It is the perfect place to experiment and trying to find your own "formula"
Achievements:
View all of your achievements here.
To those of you who are also gamers will feel very familiar with the interface. You can see when you've completed each achievement, and the progress of the achievements that are still to be earned.
You can also earn rewards with these achievements!
Radio Station:
A huge library with a plethora of different genres of playlists, so you can just listen and enjoy.
Its design is very reminiscent of other music streaming platforms like Spotify with famous thematic playlists like "Lo-Fi Beats to Relax to" and "Epic Orchestral"

This is where you can see the different subscription plans, as well as payment processing methods (more on this down bellow).

With this plan, the copyright is owned by AIVA, but you don't need to credit AIVA. You get 15 downloads per month and track durations of up to five minutes. You can download MP3 & MIDI formats.Pro: This plan costs €33 per month + VAT and is recommended for creators who want to own the copyright of their compositions and monetize without restrictions. With this plan, the copyright is owned by you, and you can enjoy full monetization without any need to credit AIVA.
You get 300 downloads per month, and track durations of up to five minutes and thirty seconds. You can download all file formats, including high-quality WAV files.
AIVA's pricing model is based on annual subscriptions, but you can also opt for monthly payments for a slightly higher cost of €15 for the Standard plan and €49 for the Pro plan.
The great thing about this paying model, is that you're actually just paying for the downloads and for the type of use you're going to give them.
You don't pay for generating any of the pieces, and you can keep making compositions and experimenting everything with the free plan.
For example, with the Pro Plan, you could compose 1000 pieces in a month, and spend your 300 download quota to monetize your best ones.
